Gwen Stefani has released a new single entitled Misery, taken from her third solo album titled "This is What the Truth Feels Like".
Behind the title track "Misery" which looks miserable, Stefani admitted that the song is the story of her new found happiness after parting with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, in 2014 ago.
Reported by Entertainment Weekly, “The record is happening in real time,” Stefani told EW last month. “I’ve never had a record that’s been about happiness, so that feels really good and different. And I’ve never had records come out while it’s going on.” Lyrics like “Put me out of my misery/ hurry up come see me” and “You’re like drugs to me/ I’m so into you totally” echo the sentiment.
Meanwhile, in an interview with the New York Times, Stefani tells of a painful breakup she felt with Rossdale. "If I could, I would just tell you everything, and you would just be in shock. It's a really good, juicy story".
"Gwen Stefani, 46, was reeling. "I'm gonna die," she said, recalling her emotional state. "I am dead, actually. How do I save myself? What am I going to do? How do I not go down like this? ", she added.
We know, Gwen is currently establishing a special relationship with the Blake Shelton because they both have the same fate. Blake felt the same pain with him. Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale were divorced in August 2015, while Blake Shelton Miranda Lambert divorced in July 2015.
